The ancient god of war, Chen Nan, who led the gods and demons in the battle against the Heavens, awakens from his tomb at the top of the snowy mountains after a ten-thousand-year slumber. With his divine powers and memories closed, and after a fierce fight with the guardians of the tomb, he inadvertently enters the land of Chu by mistake.

It is a time of chaos. Earth is no longer what it used to be. It has been infested with a bug like species called the Blue. When he wakes up Yuji learns that its been more than 20 years since he was put into suspended animation, and the world is now controled by these creatures. He joins a group of soldiers equipped with powerful mechas to fight against the Blue for hope of a better future.

As a child, Ono Tsubasa saw a Shirato baseball game on TV and was amazed at the Trumpet player in the band playing. Now, in order to play the Trumpet, she enters Shirato High School. There, she meets Yamada Daisuke, a catcher for the baseball team. With each others support, they go towards their dream of playing at Koushien.

Harvey Rockwood, a world-renowned botanist, comes across bad weather and finds himself enveloped by a dense fog. Under the blanket of the mist, he hears the sound of the wind, the calls of wild birds, and then a mysterious singing voice in a garden where he meets Elu, the Spirit of the Blue Rose. Elu informs Harvey that they shall meet once again in the mist...

A documentary film maker goes into the forest to film a tribe of primitive people living there. He finds out there are two when he gets there. He is captured by one of the tribes who are rumoured to be cannibals. His daughter leads a party of university students to go and rescue him.
